Morgan Bovardi tallied second career goal
FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University women's soccer team fell to cross-town rival Fairfield University 3-1 on Sunday.

The Pioneers return to action on Thursday, September 8 when they host Manhattan College at 7:00 p.m.
Of Note
- The Stags fired off three unanswered goals in the opening half with the last one coming with less than five minutes remaining to give Fairfield a 3-0 lead.
- Less than 20 minutes into the second half, first-year Morgan Bovardi launched her second goal of the season to end the game with a 3-1 defeat.
- Jaci Budaj tallied her second career assist.
