Jacobsen earns quarterfinal appearance for SHU

Philadelphia, Pa. – The Sacred Heart men's wrestling team was back on the mat Sunday at the 2023 Keystone Classic, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The Pioneers had one wrestler, Anthony Jacobsen, advance to the quarterfinals in the 184-weight bracket.

Notables:

Jacobsen started his day with a first round bye in his weight bracket to move on to the quarterfinals. He couldn't get past Penn's Maximus Hale then Jacob Stefanowicz from Penn beat Jacobsen in the consolation bracket.
Teammate Vincent Milazzo picked up a win in the consolation bracket after dropping a pair of matches by decision to Penn's Nico Nardone and Harvard's Dante Frinzi.
