Pryor notches third double-double and season-high eight steals
FAIRFIELD, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University women's basketball team returned to the win column as it took down Saint Francis, 68-34, on Thursday.

Of Note:
The Pioneers turned in their best defensive performance of the season, holding Saint Francis to a season-low 25 percent (12-of-48). SHU produced 21 steals – the most under head coach Jessica Mannetti – and got 42 points off 33 Red Flash turnovers.
Sacred Heart grew a sizeable lead in the first half, holding Saint Francis to just six made field goals. The Pioneers had a 40-17 advantage going into the break.
First year Ny'Ceara Pryor had a big night, posting her third double-double along with a season-high eight steals. Her steals are tied for a fourth on the SHU single-game charts and are the third-most made by a Division I player this season.
Graduate student Sajada Bonner scored in double-figures for the fourth-straight game, finishing with 14. First year Amelia Wood posted 12 points which was one-point short of her season-high.
