Prettyman Named NEC Rookie of the Week

The first-years earns the award for the third time this season
FAIRFIELD, Conn.—For the third time this season, Sacred Heart women's bowling first-year Megan Prettyman was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week.
Prettyman and the Pioneers had a huge showing over the weekend at the Music City Classic at Vanderbilt University. #25 Sacred Heart had wins over six teams ranked in the top 20 in the nation.
The Deptford, N.Y. native helped lead the Pios to a 10-3 record at the Music City Classic. Rolling 49 strikes in 123 attempts, the 3x ROTW honoree posted a 19.29 frame average after filling frames at a .837 clip.
Prettyman and the Pioneers are back in action this weekend in the Northeast Conference Championships on March 24-26. Sacred Heart is the fourth seed and will kick off the competition against fifth-seeded Saint Francis (Pa.) at 9:00 AM on Friday.
