Box Score TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team came up short against FDU, 5-2, on Saturday. The match also marked Senior Day for graduate students Sebastian Colla and Alberto Mello.
 
In doubles, Mello and junior Lefteri Apostolou won at No. 1 before the Knights took No. 2. Sophomore duo Darius Eftekhar and Matyas Vencl earned a 6-4 victory to give the Pioneers the first team point.
 
Unfortunately, FDU dominated five of the six singles to bring the match to its final score. First year Arya Alla notched the lone win for SHU in straight sets.
 
Up next, the Pioneers travel to St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday at 1 p.m.
