Galette Named to All-Met Third Team

Nico Galette brings in another postseason accolade
NEW YORK, N.Y.-- Sacred Heart University men's basketball junior Nico Galette was named to the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association All-Met third team. Galette is one of three Northeast Conference members named to an All-Met team.
The junior forward added another postseason accolade after earning a spot on the All-NEC first team, a spot on the NABC All-District second team, and now a spot on the All-Met third team.
Galette led the Pioneers in scoring and was fifth in the conference, averaging 15.4 points per game. He was second on the team and seventh in the NEC in rebounding at 6.7 per game. Galette also led the team in blocked shots (32) and steals (53). The junior forward scored in double figures in 30 games this season and recorded three double-doubles. Galette scored a career-high 27 points on February 16th in an overtime win against Fairleigh Dickinson, 94-86. Galette earns All-Met recognition for the first time in his career.
