
Two Pioneers Earn NABC Honors Court Recognition

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the recipients of its 2025-26 NABC Honors Court, recognizing men's college basketball student-athletes for their academic achievement. Sacred Heart University had two men's basketball players earn Honors Court recognition.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Junior Jaden Slaughter and graduate student Griffin Barrouk represented the Pioneers on the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court. More than 2,300 student-athletes nationwide earned the distinction this year.
Slaughter is a political science major, while Barrouk is pursuing his MBA.
