Four Pios finished in the top 25 of the event
BOSTON — The Sacred Heart University women's cross country team earned a season-best fourth-place finish at the 55th-Annual Codfish Bowl Cross Country Meet hosted in the rain on Saturday afternoon in Boston.
Leading the Pioneers was junior Kelly Parker, who finished the five-kilometer course in 19:37 to take 18th. First year Grace DelGiorno crossed the finish line next in a season-low 19:46 to place 20th. Grace Sousa and Keegan Pepin rounded out the Pioneers with top-25 showings. Sousa posted a personal-record time of 19:54 to take 22nd, while Pepin's mark of 19:59 was good for 25th.
