SHU remains undefeated at home, 5-0

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart women's wrestling team continued its winning ways earning its fifth consecutive dual meet victory on Sunday evening, defeating Ursinus College and Western New England University. SHU opened the tri-meet with a 31-12 win over the Bears before taming the Golden Bears, 40-1, in the night cap.

Following the pair of victories, the Pioneers preserved its unbeaten record at the William H. Pitt Center with a 5-0 mark as well as extended their overall dual meet record to 14-3.

Notables:

Four individuals – Ahsia Torres, Alexandra Fitzgerald, Bayley Trang, and Temi Sanusi – finished the evening with a pair of victories in their designated weight class.
Tati Walker, Julia Mullane, Madison Sandquist, Tayla Tildsley, Love Daley, Cara Broadus, Madeline Hodges, and Jacklyn Smith all earned a win for the Pioneers.
