Ralph-Beyer picks up his first conference honor
EDISON, N.J. – Following his career-high 20-point performance on Sunday, Nyle Ralph-Beyer has been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week, picking up his first conference accolade.
Ralph-Beyer led the Sacred Heart men's basketball team to a 100-60 home victory over Manhattanville on Sunday to wrap up non-conference play. He shot 66% (8-12) from the field and went 4-for-7 from three-point range as he tallied his fifth double-figure performance of the season. The first-year guard also brought down five rebounds and dished out one assist.
The Pioneers will be back in MAAC action at home on Sunday, January 5 at 2:00 pm against Canisius at the William H. Pitt Center.
