Fallon Finishes Sixth at 133lbs at EIWA Championship

Fallon goes 1-2 on final day of championship
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Andrew Fallon of the Sacred Heart University men's wrestling team earned a sixth-place finish at 133 pounds at the 2024 EIWA Championship, hosted by Bucknell, on Saturday.
The Pioneers concluded the two-day event with a team total of 9.5 points. Winning the two-day championship was Cornell with 164.5 points, followed by Lehigh with 159.5 point. Army West Point rounded out the top three behind a team score of 95.5 points.
Fallon opened the day with a victory as the senior notched a 2-2 tiebreaker decision over Brown's Hunter Adrian to advance him to the semifinals in the consolation bracket. However, Fallon suffered back-to-back losses to Branden Basile of Army and Maximilian Leete of American to earn sixth. Unfortunately, Fallon was just one-place shy of qualifying for NCAA's as the top-five earn a trip to Kansas City.
