Bowling Ranked 12th in February NTCA Coaches Poll

The Pioneers are 18-7 since the last edition of the poll
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The February edition of the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Coaches Poll debuted this afternoon, with the Sacred Heart University women's bowling team being tabbed 12th in the nation.
The Pioneers are the second-highest-ranking independent team, trailing new No. 1 Nebraska. SHU is also one of just four teams in the top 12 that don't compete in the highly competitive Conference USA.
The Pios are 50-19 overall this season, going 18-7 since the December poll was released. SHU has 18 wins against ranked teams this season.
Sacred Heart last competed at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite, hosted by No. 10 Maryville. The Pioneers went 8-4 overall at the tournament, picking up ranked wins over Maryville and No. 21 UAB twice.
SHU hits the lanes again tomorrow for the opening day of the Mount Shootout, hosted at Clearview Lanes in Mount Joy, Pa.
