Four Pioneers Compete at NCAA Northeast Regionals

Bartel top finisher, placing 17th in foil
MEDFORD, Mass. - The Sacred Heart men's fencing team was well represented at NCAA Northeast Regionals at Tufts. Five Pioneers competed, including four in foil. Jacob Bartel was SHU's top finisher, placing 17th in foil.
For a student-athlete to compete at the regional, they must have competed in a minimum of 21 bouts, as well as achieve at least a 25-percent win-loss percentage in scheduled bouts.
