Women's Track and Field Selected Second in the 2026 MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches' Poll

The Pioneers are looking to build off a second place finish in the outdoor track & field championships
Fairfield, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's track and field team has been selected second in the 2026 MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Pioneers are coming off a strong indoor season in which they finished second overall at the MAAC Indoor Championships. They will look to build on that success and carry their momentum into the upcoming outdoor campaign.
Quinnipiac led the way in the poll, earning nine first-place votes. Sacred Heart followed in second with two first-place votes, while Rider rounded out the top three with one first-place vote.
