Greta Ell joined the Sacred Heart University field hockey team as an assistant coach in February 2020. Ell is responsible for the Pioneers offense, practice planning and recruiting, in addition to the day-to-day operations of the program.
Before SHU
- Earned four varsity letters in field hockey at the University of Virginia
- Earned All-America and All-Region honors in her senior season
- Played in the 2018 NFHCA Senior All-Star Game
- Helped the Cavaliers to an ACC Tournament Championship in 2016
- She was named the 2015 ACC Rookie of the Year
- Four-year honor roll student at UVAm earning Athletic Honor Roll all four years
- Named to the All-ACC Academic Team in 2019
- Earned her B.S. in Education, Communications Disorders
- Selected and trained on the US Field Hockey U17 National Indoor Team in 2015
