Bailey Shaffer

Bailey Shaffer joined the Sacred Heart University Sports Medicine team as an Athletic Trainer in fall 2024, where she provides care to the field hockey, women’s lacrosse, and women’s bowling programs.

Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Southern Connecticut State University, graduating in 2022 with minors in Public Health and School Health Education. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the women’s swimming and diving team and gained diverse clinical experience across a wide range of sports, including football, lacrosse, baseball, wrestling, fencing, and professional women’s basketball.

She further advanced her expertise through a graduate assistantship at the University of New Haven from 2022-2024, where she worked closely with football, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf teams and cheerleading while earning a Master’s degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.

Bailey is enthusiastic about being part of the Sacred Heart family and is dedicated to supporting the health, well-being, and success of the University’s student-athletes.
