Donny Croft joined the Sacred Heart Athletics department in July 2025 and oversees track & field and assists with football and men's basketball.
Previously, Croft was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach for St. Ignatius High School, where he oversaw all aspects of sports performance for lacrosse, hockey, swim and dive, golf, and assisted with football.Â
Prior to his role at St. Ignatius, Croft was the Head Strength & Conditioning coach at Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst Ohio, where he oversaw all athletic development for 13 men's and women's sports.Â
Croft holds a master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Baldwin Wallace University, where he conducted research looking at acute power performance in high school rugby athletes after a single session of French Contrast Training.Â
Croft is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Level 1, and first aid/CPR/AED certified.Â
