Stephen Jarrell joined the SHU wrestling coaching staff in August 2017 as an assistant coach. In that role he will serve as the program’s recruiting coordinator, assist with match-day preparations and practice planning, in addition to the day-to-day operations of the program.

Jarrell wrestled for four seasons at Johnson & Wales, serving as a team captain. In 2017, he led the team to a fourth-place finish at the NCA Division III Championship. Jarrell finished second at the NCAA Championship to earn All-America.

Joined the coaching staff at the John Clark All-American Wrestling Academy in August 2017; assisting in practices and camp planning and instruction nationwide
