
MEN'S ICE HOCKEY SKATES TO 0-0 TIE WITH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL

MILFORD, CT (November 22, 2002) - The Sacred Heart men's ice hockey team skated to a 0-0 tie with Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponent American International. Despite Sacred Heart's 37 shots on goal, the Pioneers were unable to score.
SHU and AIC both had numerous chances to take the game, with both goaltenders making some spectacular saves. Pioneer senior goalie Eddy Ferhi (Charenton, France) made 24 saves, as he recorded his second tie of the season. AIC goaltender Chad Davis was called upon to make 37 saves.
The Pioneers return to action tomorrow evening, November 23, as they travel to Springfield, MA for the rematch with AIC at 7:00 pm.
