
Pioneer Men's Golf Finishes Sixth at Darmouth

HANOVER, NH - Junior Andrew Strom (Endwell, NY) and sophomore Joseph Serrentino (Cromwell, CT) finished with six-over 148 scorecards to help the Sacred Heart men's golf team to a sixth-place finish in the 13-team field at the Dartmouth Invitational Sunday.
The Pioneer team total of 598 was two shots behind fifth-place Central Connecticut. The event was won by host Dartmouth with a 579, followed by Yale at 583 and Fordham with a 593.
Serrentino had one of the lowest rounds of the day on Sunday with a 72. Strom followed up his opening round 71 with a 77 on Sunday. Freshman Joshua Salah (Gloucester, MA) finished 19th overall at 150, followed by David Renski (N. Stonington, CT) who tied for 30th in the 70-golfer field with a 152.
The Pioneers are back in action next weekend at the Yale Invitational.
