WALTHAM, Mass. – In the Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey matches against Niagara on Friday and Saturday, junior transfer Logan Britt was the top defenseman in the series. Britt tallied a pair of assists alongside three blocks to earn himself Atlantic Hockey Defense Player of the Week.
It's the second weekly honor for the Crystal Lake, Ill., native and the fourth by a Pioneer this season. Air Force's Will Gavin earned Player of the Week while RIT claimed a pair of awards with Kolby Matthews (Goaltender of the Week) and Carter Wilkie (Rookie of the Week).
