Pioneers travel to Holy Cross on Saturday for 12 p.m. kick
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University football team is back in the FCS Playoffs for the second time in seven months when the Pioneers travel to Holy Cross on Saturday. Tickets are on sale now for the 12 p.m. contest.
"We have some of the best fans in the FCS and their support has been incredible this year," SHU head coach Mark Nofri said. "Our kids really feed off their energy and we hope as many of them as possible can make it to the game on Saturday. It would be great to come out of the locker room to have a sea of red in the stands."
Tickets, along with parking, can be purchased in advance. General admission seats are $15. Holy Cross charges for all parking lots on campus.
Sacred Heart earned its spot in the postseason by winning the NEC regular season championship with an 6-1 mark, 8-3 overall. The Pioneers come into the playoffs on a six-game winning streak. This will be the third meeting between the Pioneers and Crusaders with Holy Cross taking both contests.
