Women's Fencing Falls at Boston College

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. –The Sacred Heart University women?s fencing program dropped a 24-3 and 20-7 decisions against Boston College on Saturday.
Round 1:
- The Pioneers were swept 9-0 by Boston College in the sabre.
- Junior Allyson Stejakoski garnered the only point for SHU in the foil event in the teams 8-1 defeat.
- The team lost 7-2 to the Eagles in the epee, with first-year Grace Hand and senior Ashley Cherry both recording one victory.
Round 2:
- The Eagles won the sabre 8-1, with the only SHU point from first-year Tiffany Kellstrom.
- First-year Chloe Mok secured a victory in the Pioneers' 8-1 foil lost.
- Cherry added three points to Sacred Heart's 5-4 win in the epee, followed by Hand with two.
Sacred Heart travels on March 6 to face LIU.
