NIAGARA, N.Y.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team left Niagara on a high-note defeating the Purple Eagles 2-1 on Saturday.

Junior goalie Luke Lush tallied a career-high 33 saves in the victory.
Junior Neil Shea upped his point streak to six with his fourth goal of the year.
Sophomore John Jaworski scored his second straight goal for the game-winner.
SHU held Niagara to going 0-3 on the power-play while winning the face-off battle 37-30.
The Pioneers struck first coming 8:04 into the first period from Neil Shea to put SHU ahead 1-0.
Niagara answered back late in the second period as Ryan Naumovski found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1.
In the closing minutes of the second, John Jaworski found the open hole to score the game-winner with 2:45 left in the period.
