• Junior goalie Luke Lush tallied a career-high 33 saves in the victory.
• Junior Neil Shea upped his point streak to six with his fourth goal of the year.
• Sophomore John Jaworski scored his second straight goal for the game-winner.
• SHU held Niagara to going 0-3 on the power-play while winning the face-off battle 37-30.
• The Pioneers struck first coming 8:04 into the first period from Neil Shea to put SHU ahead 1-0.
• Niagara answered back late in the second period as Ryan Naumovski found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1.
• In the closing minutes of the second, John Jaworski found the open hole to score the game-winner with 2:45 left in the period.
