Junior has a pair of victories in the fall.
SOMERSET, N.J. – Last season, virtually every weekly Northeast Conference men's golf award went to Sacred Heart University's Marcus Lim. That trend continued to start the fall campaign as the junior was named Golfer of the Month, as announced by the league offense.
It's the sixth honor of the Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia native's career. He earned both accolades last fall then three more in the spring.
Last weekend he claimed his second tournament victory of the year with a 14-under 199 at the Columbia Autumn Invitational. Two events prior, Lim set the SHU single-round (64) and 36-hole (132) marks in winning the Ryan Lee Invitational. In 11 rounds, Lim is averaging 68.5 strokes per round and only has one round over par.
Next up for the Pioneers is the Bucknell Invitational, October 10-11.
