Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – It's hard to have success on the road against a perennial Eastern power with just 18 shots on goal. The Sacred Heart Men's Hockey Team almost pulled it off because senior goalie Luke Lush stopped the first 26 shots he faced and finished with 30 after Cornell erased a 1-0 lead with a pair of third period tallies for a 2-1 win.
The visitors got the only goal of the opening frame midway through when forward Braeden Tuck took a pass from defenseman Julian Kislin and skated through the slot before dishing it to his left for rookie winger Aidan Connolly, who one-timed it into an opening on the left side of the cage for his fourth of the year.
The Big Red tied the game 2:15 into the third period and then grabbed the lead almost 10 minutes later. The Pioneers pulled Lush for the extra skater with 1:55 left but could only get one shot through to the Cornell netminder.
