FAIRFIELD, Conn. – After outstanding senior seasons, Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey's Mikey Adamson and Felix Trudeau were named 2025-26 New England Division I All-Stars by the New England Hockey Writers Association (NEHWA) on Wednesday afternoon.
Adamson and Trudeau played key roles in one of the best seasons in SHU men's ice hockey history. The team set a new program record with 23 wins and made its third appearance in the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Championship game.
Trudeau ended his last collegiate season tied for fifth in the country in points with 48, while scoring the second-most goals with 25. He also paces Division I with 12 power play goals, is tied for second with two hat tricks, and is tied for third with five game-winning goals.
This season, Trudeau claimed both the AHA Player and Forward of the Year awards and was crowned the league's scoring champion. He was also the program's first top ten finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
Adamson adds another postseason accolade, being named both an AHA Defenseman of the Year Finalist and a First Team All-AHA member. The senior captain led all DI blueliners with a career-best 30 assists—the third most in single-season program history—and tied for second on the Pioneers with a career-high 34 points. He recorded nine multi-point games and scored in three of SHU's six postseason contests.
Capping off their collegiate careers, both Adamson and Trudeau signed professional contracts this offseason. Trudeau agreed to a two-year deal with the St. Louis Blues and will finish this season with their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. Adamson signed with the South Carolina Stingrays, an affiliate of the Washington Capitals.
