Stenderowicz Earns First in Fastrack National Invite

The junior set new personal best in the triple jump
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— The Sacred Heart University women's and men's track & field teams were back in action at the Fastrack National Invite at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Center on Friday.
On the women's side, Kaylee Stenderowicz had a day as recorded a personal best of 11.90m for first place in the triple jump. Her performance qualifies her for the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championship. Stenderowicz also placed ninth in the long jump on a 5.31m leap.
In addition, Abbie Mokwuah placed ninth on a 12.02m throw in the shot put.
On the men's side, Justin Infante crossed the finish line in fourth in the 60m with a time of 7.21.
Sacred Heart returns to the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Center for the Northeast Conference Championships on February 20-21.
