FAIRFIELD, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team has accepted the invitation to compete in the inaugural Connecticut Spring College Cup.
 
The tournament will consist of six programs: Sacred Heart, Central Connecticut State, New Haven, Post, Quinnipiac and Southern Connecticut State.
 
Each team will play four games. Standings will be based on a point system (3 points = win, 1 point = draw) and will determine the tournament seeding. For games that end in draws, a penalty kick shootout will decide which team will get an extra point in the standings.
 
The two teams with the most points will be the No. 1 and 2 seed and will compete in the championship. Others will play in the No. 3 vs No. 4 and No. 5 vs No. 6.

March 27 vs. Post, 4 p.m.
Apr. 2 at Southern Connecticut State, 1 p.m.
Apr. 8 at New Haven, 12 p.m.
Apr. 18 at Quinnipiac, 12 p.m.
