SMITHFIELD, R.I.— The Sacred Heart University women's & men's track & field teams wrapped day one of the Bryant Black & Gold Invitational on Friday.
Women currently stand at sixth while the men are eighth.
For the women, three Pioneers placed in the top ten in the shot put.
Abbie Mokwuah's 12.12m throw claimed fifth. In the hammer throw,
Allison Plante matched her personal best of 49.41m and finished ninth.
On the men's side,
Cameron Croce registered fourth in the hammer with a 56.37m throw.
The Black & Gold Invitational continues on Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
