Up Next:
Sacred Heart plays its first home game of the season next Saturday against Dartmouth at 12 p.m. for Homecoming.

Of Note:
SHU got on the board when Tyreke Brown blocked a punt and it rolled into the MSU endzone for a safety. It's the first safety for the Pioneers since they had a pair against Saint Anselm on September 5, 2015.

The Pioneers had a chance in the second quarter to add points as quarterback Marquez McCray was tackled at the one-yard line. Unfortunately, a penalty and sack moved SHU back to the 30-yard line and the field goal attempt was wide left.

MSU took a 17-2 lead in the third quarter when Jabriel Johnson scored from four yards out. The 87-yard drive was aided by 60 Sacred Heart penalty yards.

John Wood's interception stopped a Morgan State drive at the SHU 19-yard line. A penalty kept the Pioneers' drive alive then Jalen Madison broke off a 17-yard run followed by a 31-yard scoring strike from McCray to Troy Holland.
