Pios Split Weekend Series with Sharks
EAST MEADOW, N.Y. -- Sacred Heart Universirty women's ice hockey beat first-place LIU 2-1 Saturday night. The Pioneers moved to 14-16-2 overall and 11-10-1 in NEWHA action.
Delani MacKay scored both goals for the Pios off an assist from Katie Keenan. Carly Greene made 28 saves.
The red and white will close the regular season against Saint Michael's at Martire Family Arena for senior weekend Feb. 17 and 18.
