
T&F Concludes Weekend at Ebanks Invitational

Curreri and Kaiser lead way for Pios
FAIRFAX, Va. — The Sacred Heart University men's and women's distance contingency wrapped up a successful trip to the George Mason University Ebanks Invitational as Angela Kaiser and Patrick Curreri headlined as the top finishers for SHU in their respective events during the two-day meet.
On the men's side, Curreri earned the highest finish of any Pioneer during the meet with a 21st place finish in the men's 3000m Steeplechase. In the mid-distance, Lance Hayes grabbed 41st to headline SHU's finishers in the 800m while Edward Tristine grabbed a 23rd place finish in the men's 1500m. in the 5000m, Giovanni Prestipino earned a personal-best time of 15:26.52 en route to a 23rd place finish to round out the top performers for SHU.
Meanwhile, on the women's side, Kaiser nabbed a seventh-place finish in the 5000m, narrowly missing out on setting a personal-best time by one second (17:54.01). Grace DelGiorno grabbed a personal-best time of 4:48.73 in the 1500m to grab 27th while Emily Raymond grabbed a good finish in the 800m to round out the mid-distance portion of the meet. Kelly Parker and Keegan Pepin had respectable finishes in the 3000m steeplechase, taking 13th and 16th respectively as the Pios wrapped up competition.
