MAAC Indoor Track and Field Preseason Polls Announced

The Pioneers open their seasons this week
Fairfield, Conn – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has released its men's and women's indoor track and field preseason coaches' polls, with Sacred Heart earning a third-place selection on the women's side and a seventh-place ranking on the men's side.
In the women's poll, Rider claimed the top spot with nine first-place votes, followed closely by Quinnipiac in second with two first-place votes. Sacred Heart was selected third, while Mount St. Mary's, Iona, Merrimack, Marist, Manhattan, Siena, Saint Peter's, and Canisius completed the rankings.
On the men's side, Rider secured first place after receiving all available first-place votes. Iona placed second, and Mount St. Mary's finished third to round out the top three. Manhattan, Marist, Merrimack, Sacred Heart, Saint Peter's, Siena, and Canisius filled out the remainder of the top ten.
