Alvim finishes 19th in epee
MEDFORD, Mass. - The Sacred Heart women's fencers competed in the NCAA Northeast Regional at Tufts. Maria Alvim was the Pioneers' top finisher, placing 19th in epee.
For a student-athlete to compete at the regional, they must have competed in a minimum of 21 bouts, as well as achieve at least a 25-percent win-loss percentage in scheduled bouts.
