Nassy Awarded Field Athlete of the Week

First weekly award for the sophomore
EDISON, N.J. — For the first time in her career, Annalise Nassy has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) field athlete of the week. The Milford, N.H. native, secured two event wins this past weekend at the Wilton Wright Invitational.
Nassy was a part of the 4x100m relay team along with Magdelana Brogioli, Mackenzie Furher, and Nyahingiva Musa. This team previously broke the 4x100m school record two times earlier this season. The sophomore went on to win the triple jump with a mark of 12.01 meters beating the competition by more than a meter. She stands alone in the MAAC as the only triple jumper to surpass the 12-meter barrier this season.
The Pioneers are back in action on April 18-19 at the UConn Northeast Challenge and the Mark Young Yale Invitational.
