SHU scores 39 points

Kaitlyn Luba captured the MAAC javelin championship with a toss of 43.11, more than two meters farther than second-place finisher Rebecca Weir of Mount St. Mary's. SHU's Marisa Imme (39.98) finished sixth in the event.
Sierra Thompson also made it to the medal stand by finishing second in the long jump with a school-record leap of 6.02 meters. It also was a MAAC Championship record. Camryn Jones-Howard was the winner with a jump of 6.04 meters, but because it was wind aided it doesn't qualify as the MAAC record.
