SHU Men’s Hockey Schedule Announced

Pios Host 17 Games at Martire Family Arena
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – It's never too early to plan your schedule according to the Sacred Heart Men's Hockey Schedule, so get planning!
The Pioneers, coming off a 21-13-5 season and a second-place Atlantic Hockey America finish, have 17 home dates, including a pair of pre-season contests kicked off by Hockey East's Merrimack on Oct. 4 at Martire Family Arena.
SHU, which travels to Ohio State for an Oct. 24-25 weekend series, competes this year with the Big 10, ECAC Hockey, and a pair of Division I independents.
There could also be a matchup with NCHC member Miami at the Nov. 28-29 Friendship Four in Belfast, Ireland. The Pios open with Union at SSE Arena before playing either the RedHawks or RIT.
There are only eight in-season Division I collegiate hockey tournaments and SHU has two this season. Connecticut Ice continues on Jan. 23-24 at Yale's Ingalls Rink, and Sacred Heart is matched up with Quinnipiac in the semifinals.
