Morrison wins the 2026 MAAC Indoor Men’s Coach of the Year

This is Morrison's first MAAC honor
Fairfield, Conn. – Sacred Heart University's track and field coach, Christian Morrison, has won the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Men's Coach of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
Morrison led the men's track and field team to its first-ever MAAC Indoor Championship this past Sunday, as the Pioneers totaled 114 points across 17 events. Sacred Heart secured 16 podium finishes throughout the meet, highlighted by honors as Track Rookie of the Meet and Field Most Outstanding Performer.
The Pioneers will next compete in the New England Intercollegiate Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7.
