Women's Track and Field Finish Fifth Overall at the New England Intercollegiate Indoor Track & Field Championships

Podium finishes lead the way
Boston, Mass. – The Sacred Heart University women's track and field finished fifth overall out of 22 teams at the New England Intercollegiate Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend. They scored a total of 58 points across 20 events.
Following day one, the Pioneers stood at 45 points, so on day two fewer points were scored.
Six of the Pioneers' 13 points on day two came from the triple jump event. Annalise Nassy finished fifth overall with a mark of 11.37m, earning four valuable points for the Pioneers. Close behind was Ava Srinivasan, who finished seventh overall with a mark of 11.23m, adding two more points to the team total.
