Murray Named USILA All-American

LOUISVILLE, KY— Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse senior midfielder John Murray earned his second All-American honor as he was named to the 2026 USILA All-America Honorable Mention Team, announced this afternoon.

Murray is the fourth All-American in program history and the third in the last three seasons. The senior midfielder was also selected to the USA Lacrosse All-America honorable mention team, along with being the MAAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year, and earned All-MAAC First Team honors during his senior campaign. The co-captain finished the season tied for first on the team in goals (33) and ranked second in points (44).

Murray ranked among the MAAC's top five in goals per game (2.63) during conference play. He recorded 13 multi-point performances this season and scored three or more goals in five games, including a pair of career-high five-goal performances against Holy Cross and Merrimack.

Murray closes his collegiate career with 92 points on 62 goals and 30 assists, capping off an outstanding career as one of the program's top offensive contributors.
