Murray Named to USA Lacrosse All-America Honorable Mention Team

SPARKS, Md. — Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse senior midfielder John Murray was named to the 2026 USA Lacrosse All-America Honorable Mention Team, announced by USA Lacrosse this afternoon.

Murray becomes the fourth All-American in program history and the third in the last three seasons. The senior midfielder was also named the MAAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year and earned All-MAAC First Team honors during his senior campaign. The co-captain finished the season tied for first on the team in goals (33) and ranked second in points (44).

Murray ranked among the MAAC's top five in goals per game (2.63) during conference play. He recorded 13 multi-point performances this season and scored three or more goals in five games, including a pair of career-high five-goal performances against Holy Cross and Merrimack.

Murray closes his collegiate career with 92 points on 62 goals and 30 assists, capping off an outstanding career as one of the program's top offensive contributors.
