Kelleher Takes Home the Metro Conference Offensive Player of the Week

This is Kelleher's second conference award of the young season
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Senior forward Shea Kelleher of the Sacred Heart University women's soccer team was named this week's Metro Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Kelleher, in just two games, has scored two goals and tallied two assists. In the season opener against Central Connecticut, Kelleher found the back of the net on a penalty kick, which proved to be the game-winner. She also recorded two assists, contributing to three of the Pioneers' four goals in the 4-1 victory.
In game two against Vermont, Kelleher broke the scoreless tie early in the second half, finding the back of the net for her second game-winning goal of the young season.
Through two games, Kelleher has registered 12 shots, with eight being shots on goal.
This week, Kelleher and the Pioneers will travel to Orono, Maine, to take on the University of Maine on Sunday, August 23.
