Kelleher Named the Metro Conference Preseason Player of the Year

Kelleher is coming off a 22 point season
Fairfield, Conn. – Shea Kelleher has been named the Metro Conference Preseason Player of the Year, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Kelleher earns the honor after a standout 2025 campaign in which she played a pivotal role in leading the Pioneers to the 2025 Metro Conference Championship. The forward appeared in all 22 matches, recording eight goals and six assists for 22 total points. She also finished with 33 shots on goal, tying for the team lead, and earned Metro Conference Second Team honors at the conclusion of the season.
Kelleher and the defending Metro Conference champions will open the 2026 regular season on Wednesday, August 12, when they host Central Connecticut State at 7 p.m. on Park Ave Field.
