TK Kiernan enters his sixth season as a member of the Sacred Heart Baseball, which began in the 2014-2015 season. He enters his third season as an assistant coach after serving previously as the volunteer assistant coach in his three seasons as a Pioneer.
Kiernan works with the Pioneer hitters and infielders. In his six seasons with SHU, the Pioneers have made the NEC tournament each year including the program’s fourth NEC Championship back in 2015.
A Wallingford native, Kiernan played collegiately at nearby Southern Connecticut State University. He excelled in the infield for the NCAA Division II powerhouse, garnering All-College World Series tournament honors as a freshman in 2011 and ending his career with All-Northeast-10 honors as a senior in 2014.
