Allison Hogue was hired as athletic communications graduate assistant in August 2021. She comes to Sacred Heart after serving as assistant director of athletic media relations at Coker University.
 
While at Coker, Hogue served as the primary contact for softball, women's soccer, women's lacrosse, acrobatics & tumbling and esports. She also handled stats for Coker's home games and assisted in content for the athletic department.
 
Prior to Coker, Hogue was the communications & marketing intern at the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). She played a part in promoting the organization's first-ever virtual convention, Power Hour. Other duties included managing the Division I and Division II Coaches Poll and assisting in press releases for award winners.
 
Before the WBCA, Hogue served as a summer communications intern at the University of Florida, working primarily with the department's archives and creating social media and website content. Hogue also assisted with game operations during the 2019 NCAA Softball Super Regional.
 
Hogue got her start in sports information as a student worker and intern at Liberty University. She served as the primary contact for the cheerleading team while assisting in game operations and statistics. Hogue also wrote for the Liberty Football game day programs.
 
Hogue is a native of Nashville, Tenn. and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management (2019) from Liberty. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Sports Communications & Media at Sacred Heart. Hogue is also a member of the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). In 2022, she was selected to the inagural CSC 30 Under 30.
