SHU looks to rebound tomorrow at 1:05 p.m.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team started out strong against Niagara but fell to the Purple Eagles 4-1 Friday night.

• SHU dominated the opening period as they took an early 1-0 lead courtesy of senior Ryan Steele 15:45 for his third of the season.
• Niagara was not flustered as they came back in the second period with a goal by Chris Harpur 12:04 into the period to even the score at 1-1.
• Then in third, the Purple Eagles sealed the game with three goals including the game winner from Ryan Cox 10:07 in the period to eventually walk away two more goals later with the 4-1 victory.
