SHU moves to second in the Atlantic Hockey standings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team left Colorado on a high note on Tuesday night as they completed the four-game series against Air Force with a 3-1 victory.

Sacred Heart Pioneers- (6-5-3, 4-2-2 AHA)
Air Force Falcons- (4-9-1, 2-5-1 AHA)

Neil Shea (SHU)- 1 goal, 1 assist
Andrius Kulbis-Marino (SHU)- 1 goal
Justin Robbins (SHU)- 24 saves, 1 goal allowed

Of Note:

The Pioneers extended their win streak to three straight victories and bump up to second in the Atlantic Hockey standings with 16 points.
Junior Neil Shea tallied his second multi-point game of the season with a goal and assist.
Junior goalie Justin Robbins picked up his fourth win of the season recording 24 saves on 25 shots faced.
Sophomore Andrius Kulbis-Marino scored a goal for the second day in a row coming with 12:46 remaining in the second period to put the Pioneers ahead 2-0.
Junior Kevin Lombardi upped his goal streak to four coming just seconds later with 11:54 remaining in the period to put SHU ahead 3-0.
Air Force would only tally a goal late in the third period to result in the 3-1 victory.
