Kirby Earns NEC Rookie of the Week Honors

First-year defender scored first career goal against Hartford
SOMERSET, N.J.— Sacred Heart University men's soccer defender Nick Kirby was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday.
It's the first weekly honor for the Pioneers since Olliver Persson picked up Player and Rookie of the Week on April 13, 2021.
A native of Nutley, N.J., Kirby scored the first goal of his career in the Pioneers' draw against Hartford.
The Pioneers host Monmouth at Park Ave Field on September 15 at 3 p.m.
