The Kyviv, Ukraine native was responsible for clinching SHU's match against Mount St. Mary's in the first round of the NEC Tournament. The match ended in three sets and gave the Pioneers' their historical 12th win.

Both Aina Garriga and Olivia Kharkover were named to the NEC All-Rookie list after they each earned a Rookie of the Week nod during the year. Garriga, who hails from Barcelona, Spain, primarily played at third and fourth singles and was 5-4 against the NEC, 10-15 overall. The native of Matawan, N.J., Kharkover shined in six singles as she posted a perfect 5-0 record in that spot, as well as a 4-0 mark in league play. The rookie finished the year with seven-straight wins.
